Dancers may enter the building no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of their class.

One parent per dancer is welcome to observe classes from the lobby.

For dancers ages 6 and up, we strongly encourage a “Drop and Go” policy to maintain a comfortable and spacious lobby for all families.
Illness & Symptom Policy
To help prevent the spread of illness, dancers will not be permitted to attend class if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
-
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
-
Fatigue
-
Muscle or body aches
-
Headache
-
New loss of taste or smell

Fever Policy: Dancers must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to the studio.
If a Libra staff member observes any symptoms while a dancer is in class, the parent/guardian will be contacted immediately to pick up the dancer.
Cleaning & Sanitation Protocols
Libra Dance Studio follows enhanced cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment:
-
All frequently touched surfaces (door handles, bathrooms, acro mats, hand sanitizer tops, etc.) are cleaned throughout the night.
-
Dance Props: Handheld props will be used by dancers once per class and then disinfected. Props are not shared between dancers.
-
Studio floors are sanitized multiple times per week.
-
Sanitation Supplies: Hand sanitizer, tissues, disinfecting wipes, and Lysol spray are available in every studio room.
-
We have installed a hospital-grade air purification system in our HVAC system, added in Summer 2020, to ensure clean air circulation throughout the studio.
Studio-Mandated Shutdown Policy
In the event of a health-related shutdown due to COVID-19 exposure or a government mandate, Libra Dance Studio will transition all in-person classes to a virtual platform.
-
All dancers and families are expected to follow the latest CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 symptoms or exposure.
-
Tuition will not be refunded in the event of a transition to online classes.
-
We require a firm 30-day cancellation notice for all classes, camps, workshops, and events.
-
If you choose not to participate in virtual instruction, you will be removed from the class roster after the 30-day cancellation period.
-
Once removed, the next dancer on the waitlist will be contacted, and your spot may no longer be available if you decide to return.
-
Costume fees and tuition are non-refundable, regardless of class format (in-person or virtual).
-
Tuition rates remain the same during virtual instruction and will not be discounted.
Thank you for supporting Libra Dance Studio’s efforts to maintain a healthy and positive space for all dancers. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding these policies.
Dress Code Policy
To maintain a professional and safe environment for all dancers, proper attire is required for every class at Libra Dance Studio. Following our dress code helps instructors see alignment and technique clearly while ensuring dancers can move safely and comfortably.
Please review the required dress code for each class below. Dancers must arrive dressed and ready for class. Hair should be neatly secured and off the face (preferably in a bun for ballet). Street shoes are not allowed on studio floors.
Note: Dancers without proper attire or shoes may be asked to observe rather than participate in class.
