NEW Libra Dance Studio's Covid-19 Policies & Procedures for SUMMER 2021

Libra Dance Studio SUMMER 2021 Covid-19 Updates:

NEW UPDATES  based on LIFT of Government Mandate

Dancer Summer Drop Off:

-Libra Dancers are allowed to enter the building no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of class.

-Hand sanitizer is to be applied prior to dancers entering into the studio rooms.

-Now that the Pennsylvania Masks Mandate will be lifted on June 28th Masks are now optional of our dancers, staff, and teachers.

-Libra Parents are welcome to watch all classes from the lobby. We ask that if you are unvaccinated that you wear a mask while in the building. 

Policies for Dancers & Staff while at the Studio:
Libra Parents are welcome to watch all classes from the lobby. We ask that if you are unvaccinated that you wear a mask while in the building. 

- Dancers are not allowed to participate in class if they have any type of Covid-19 Symptoms including but not limited too;
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

-If a Libra Teacher see any of these symptoms present you will be notified to pick up your dancer immediately.

 

Hourly Cleaning Policies at Libra:
-All door handles, acro mats, bathrooms, tops of hand sanitizer, and any other commonly touched surfaces are cleaned at the end of EVERY class still. 

-DANCE PROPS: We will be using handheld dance props  HOWEVER dancers are only allowed to use them ONCE and then they will be cleaned. There is no sharing.

-Floors will be mopped nightly with our Covid-19 Stage Step Floor Cleaner. 

-Hand sanitizer, tissues, lysol spray, and disinfecting wipes have been placed in every studio room. 

-Lastly we had a hospital grade Air Purification System added into our HVAC System in the Summer of 2020. 
 

 

Libra Policy For Studio Covid-19 Exposure or Mandated Shut Down:

-If we are mandated to shut down due to an exposure or a state mandated shut down we will transition to an online platform. 

-We have a FIRM 30 day cancelation requirement for all classes, camps, workshops, and studio events. 

 

-If online instruction is not something you want to participate in then you will be removed after the 30 day period.

 

-Once you are removed from the class roster the next person on the wait list will be contacted for the opening. Please keep in mind that once we are able to resume classes the spot you gave up might not be available any longer due to you dropping the class.

 

-No refunds on costumes or any tuition will be given if we need to switch to virtual learning.   

-Tuition Rates will NOT be discounted due to switching to an online platform.
